Manitoba Foundation for the Arts

The Manitoba Foundation for the Arts honours dedicated Manitoba individuals and organizations that go above and beyond their daily professions to use art in ways that enhance the communities they live in and the overall quality of life in Manitoba.

• Urban Community Award sponsored by The Investors Group ($5,000)
  (Winnipeg and Brandon) A Manitoba organization such as a community or institution that has developed and implemented a significant project in the arts within their community. Educational institutions are excluded.

• The Lee Cameron Arts in Education Award sponsored by The Richardson Foundation ($5,000)
  A living Manitoba artist, teacher or volunteer, or Manitoba organization that has made an extraordinary contribution to arts in education and the advancement of curriculum through the arts in Manitoba. Arts educators K to Senior 4 are only eligible for the work they do above and beyond their professional obligations.

La Manitoba Foundation for the Arts honore des personnes et des organismes dévoués qui dépassent les exigences de leurs activités quotidiennes pour utiliser les arts d’une façon qui rehausse les collectivités manitobaines où ils sont établis et la qualité générale de la vie au Manitoba.

• Prix de la commaunté urbaine parrainé par le Groupe Investors (5 000 $)
  (Winnipeg et Brandon) Prix décerné à un organisme manitobain, tel qu’un groupe communautaire ou un établissement, qui a élaboré et mis en œuvre un projet artistique important dans sa collectivité. (Les établissements d’enseignement sont exclus.)

• Prix Lee Cameron des arts en éducation parrainé par la Richardson Foundation (5 000 $)
  Prix décerné à un artiste, enseignant ou bénévole manitobain vivant, ou à un organisme manitobain, qui a apporté une contribution exceptionnelle à l’utilisation des arts en éducation et au développement des programmes d’études par le biais des arts au Manitoba. Les enseignants des arts de la maternelle au Secondaire 4 ne sont admissibles que pour le travail effectué qui dépasse leurs obligations professionnelles.
