Travel Manitoba is a Crown Corporation responsible for stimulating innovative, sustainable tourism growth in Manitoba’s $1.2 billion tourism industry. In partnership with the tourism industry, Travel Manitoba is responsible for tourism marketing, visitor information services, product development, research and public information. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team.

E-Marketing Manager – Sales & Marketing Division

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Vice President, Sales & Marketing, the E-Marketing Manager manages the online/social media marketing strategies aligned with Travel Manitoba’s business and marketing goals. The position will direct internal teams in leveraging online/social marketing efforts through best practices, preferred strategies and proven channels, to deliver outstanding results. Solid analytics and clear reporting will be critical in program assessment.
The E-Marketing Manager will assess and make recommendations regarding all Travel Manitoba online properties to better serve consumer expectations, simplify information access and enhance interaction with industry partners. Responsibilities will include seeking out new opportunities to improve upon existing web properties and online sales processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Expert knowledge and experience of web based technologies and architecture, particularly web delivery, development, and reporting tools.
Post secondary education in marketing and/or website management or equivalent level of experience (10 years).
Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
Demonstrated experience in developing and managing online advertising and marketing campaigns.
Mobile marketing and mobile apps experience.
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Experience managing third party consultants
Knowledge of Manitoba’s tourism industry as asset.

SALARY: $57,780 to $76,035
