Artbeat Studio is seeking a coordinator for an emerging inner-city adult ‘urban arts program.’
Studio Central is a project of Artbeat Studio Inc. Programming at Studio Central aims to facilitate the production of art as a means of inspiring personal passion, connecting generations, bridging diverse groups, and serving as a catalyzing symbol of the people as a community.
Reporting directly to Executive Director, this is a 32 hour/week, one-year term position with the possibility for renewal. Wages are commensurate with experience.
Qualifications:
Masters Degree preferred with coursework in;
Community Planning and Development
Mental illness and addictions
Arts and Culture
Career Development and Employment Mentoring
Work experience and demonstrable competencies:
Administrative: Project Management an Volunteer Coordination
Empathy with marginalized inner-city population
ICT software: MS Office, Photoshop & In-Design
Personal Characteristics:
Caring and compassionate
Creative and task oriented
Energetic & outgoing
Organized
Confident and considerate
