The Manitoba Children’s Museum (MCM) exists to spark kids’ creative learning. For over two decades, we have been the place for families to play, laugh, learn and grow. As a non-profit charitable organization, we believe in the potential of all and provide an interactive environment that nurtures the power of imagination and spirit of self-discovery.

The MCM has plans to renew and refresh the exhibits and galleries in its’ historic CN train repair building with a $10M Capital Campaign.
Over 2 million pairs of hands and feet have played in the Manitoba Children’s Museum since it opened at The Forks in 1994. Though the galleries are well-loved, it is time for a major renewal.
The MCM is currently working with an exhibit design firm and architects to map out ideas for a Welcome Centre addition, an interactive Arts & Exhibition Centre and twelve exciting new galleries.
Current plans will see the museum closing for construction in Fall 2010 and reopening in Spring 2011.
