Manitoba arts groups get $2.2M in funding
MANITOBA'S arts and cultural organizations will get $2.2 million in funding from the Harper government this year, St. Boniface MP Shelly Glover said Tuesday.
Glover said the 23 groups receiving funding, including the Festival du Voyageur and Manitoba Theatre for Young People, will get the support through seven programs under the Department of Canadian Heritage.
