AMYC Alumni-Only Workshop - Social Media 2: Making Your Website Work for You

February 15, 2012

Date: February 15, 2012 from 6-9pm
Location: Anhang Room at the Millennium Library
Cost: $25 for AMYC students; $50 for 3 classes

Topic: Making Your Website Work for You

You have a website or are just about ready to get one up. This is an important step in an artist’s career. Your website showcases your talent and your story to the world. Literally. Through your website, you can expand your fan and client base beyond Winnipeg to Wundham, Wuxi and Washington. During this workshop, we’ll review your website and offer you feedback on how to make it world-class. You’ll receive feedback on the structure, its usability and its content. You’ll be able to fine-tune the words and polish its look. Once that’s done, you’ll be able to get back to your artwork, knowing that your website is working for you.

Instructor: Nathalie Kleinschmit

Nathalie’s first company, Global’Ease, offers consulting and training services for international business development: management, mobility, customer service and professional communication. She has personally welcomed more than 10 000 managers from 90 countries to her workshops.

After twenty years in Europe, Nathalie returned to Winnipeg with her family. A member of the Manitoba Writers Guild, ACI and PWAC, she now focuses her time on writing, course development, and mentoring new trainers and working with artists. She launched ArtsGrove in 2009 to focus on business and financial growth for self-employed artists.
